Child Travel Consent Letter — Notarized Online
Required when a minor is travelling abroad with only one parent, a guardian, or another adult, notarized over a secure video call.
Border officials and airlines increasingly ask for a signed, notarized consent letter whenever a child is travelling without both parents or legal guardians present. It confirms that the absent parent or guardian is aware of and agrees to the trip, and it can prevent serious delays or even a refusal to board.
The non-travelling parent typically signs during the video appointment, though we can also accommodate cases where both parents want the letter sworn together. Photo ID is verified for whoever signs, and the seal is applied on the spot.
Commissioned in accordance with O. Reg. 431/20. We do not provide legal advice on custody matters or on what a specific destination country or airline will accept — we recommend confirming requirements with them directly.
