Student & OSAP Affidavits
OSAP Affidavit of Foreign and Non-Taxable Spousal Income — Commissioned Online
A sworn declaration of a student’s spouse’s income earned outside Canada or not taxed in Canada.
When a student’s spouse earned income abroad, or has income that does not appear on a Canadian tax return, OSAP may need that income declared under oath before it can complete the assessment.
The spouse often lives or works in another country. Because the appointment is online, they can join from there, show their photo ID on camera and sign while the commissioner watches.
Commissioned in accordance with O. Reg. 431/20. We do not provide advice on OSAP rules for foreign income.
