OSAP Affidavit of Student Income — Commissioned Online

A sworn statement of a student’s total income from all sources, used when OSAP asks you to confirm what you earned.

When the income in your OSAP application cannot be confirmed through tax records alone, for example because of cash work, a gap year or income that changed during the year, you may be asked to declare it under oath.

Fill in the affidavit, leave the signature blank, and upload it when you book. On a short video call you show your photo ID and sign while the commissioner watches, then the completed document is emailed to you, ready to upload to your OSAP account.

Commissioned in accordance with O. Reg. 431/20. We do not advise on how OSAP assesses income; the financial aid office at your school can help with that.

OSAP Affidavit of Student Income FAQ

Yes. You receive a completed digital copy by email after the call.

I am studying outside Toronto. Does that matter?

No. The appointment is online, so you can join from anywhere.

Can you tell me what income to include?

No. Please ask your school’s financial aid office; we only commission the document as written.
